Program 2205 -- Arlo Guthrie and Gil Shaham

Arlo GuthrieFor the final new program of the season on Monday, August 10 at 8pm ET (check local listings), EVENING AT POPS features the pairing of violinist Gil Shaham and legendary storyteller/songwriter Arlo Guthrie. First, Shaham joins the Boston Pops Orchestra for a performance of Kabalevsky's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in C Major. Then Arlo Guthrie takes center stage to perform selections from his thirty-year music career. Gil Shaham returns to join Guthrie in performing his original composition, "Arlo's Rag."
