Which type of captions do you prefer on DVDs?

Line-21 -- White letters on black background. Captions include sound effects, speaker IDs and speaker placement. Captions appear automatically if TV monitor has caption feature turned on.

SDH -- Subtitles for people who are deaf or hard of hearing -- subtitles appear on top of the video with no black background. SDH captions include sound effects, speaker IDs and some limited speaker placement. SDH captions are selected through the DVD menu system.

ESL -- English-language subtitles. Subtitles are typically placed in the bottom center of the screen. No sound effects or speaker IDs are provided. ESL subtitles are selected through the DVD menu system.
