The Media Access Group at WGBH's Consumer Advisory Group is comprised of educators, professionals, students, and community leaders, each with a connection to deafness or blindness.

The Consumer Advisory Group meets annually. Program diversity and availability, improvement on the methods used to caption and describe programming, and the development of new technology and its impact on accessibility have been some of the issues addressed.
