Group Work
Children often feel more comfortable venturing new ideas to a peer rather than a teacher. Allowing children to work in groups enhances student communication, encourages students to work collaboratively, and allows students to puzzle through ideas in a safe environment before defending their ideas in front of the teacher or the whole class. photo of classroom

"When you have group work, children of different abilities help each other out. It provides a safe environment... Children feel more comfortable talking to peers, so it creates a forum for sharing."
