WGBH 89.7, Boston's National Public Radio (NPR) arts and culture station, broadcasts a 24-hour schedule of classical music, news, and jazz, mixed with blues, folk, and the spoken word. Much of what is heard on the airways also is produced by WGBH, either in our FM studios or out in the field. Antonio Oliart provides technical support for our radio productions, whether that be a concert at a music hall, a live performance in the studio, or an interview conducted on the telephone. "I enjoy working with the Boston musical community, especially helping artists bring their work to a larger audience. I have worked on many full opera productions that we have broadcast live on 89.7, and it's always thrilling! There's a real collaborative spirit to the work we do, which contributes to a great professional environment." |
