Includes a 2" master, Betacam and D3 preservation masters, and a VHS screening copy. The tapes were originally labeled as "Frank Gilette."In "Quidditas" Frank Gilette turns an eye to the landscape of Massachusetts, examining seven unique natural environments. Presented in seven distinct sections, the visual details of a pond, a lake, scrub pines, a salt marsh, tidal flats, dunes, and the ocean are presented. The surface of water is a recurring image from scene to scene. Repeatedly, the camera focuses on a fixed close-up and then zooms out to reveal the larger setting. The natural sounds of each environment -- chirping birds and lapping waves -- provide the score.
