Scope:
Includes a 3/4 tape of the completed work and a Betacam SP and VHS screening copy made from this. The first 7:30 of the tape are from another program on the history of music. The Lukas Foss piece begins around the 8:00 mark. The piece is cut off prematurely at the 30:45 mark, meaning that approximately the last 6:00 are missing, including the credits.

Documentary about the experimental music composer, including interview footage and narration on his life and music. Includes live performances of his compositions performed for this program.

Foss compositions are performed live during the piece.
