Scope:
Includes a 3/4" copy and a Betacam SP screening copy created for exhibition. This work has also been preserved as part of the "Frames of Reference" special, "Ros Barron." Three folders contain contracts, production notes, expense reports, invoices, correspondence, and shot logs.This is a dramatic movement work featuring the reconstruction of various elements from Magritte paintings and incorporating live bodies at a beach/ocean setting. Plastic letters are arranged and rearranged to spell the words "evil" and "la vie." Text is spoken in French and English, and unidentified music accompanies the work.
