This was acquired as part of the "Artists on Artists" project and broadcast as part of "Artist's Showcase."
Scope:
The VHS screening copy of this work drops off abruptly, with no credit information. Two 2" masters, a Betacam SP preservation master, and VHS and 3/4" screening copies exist. This work also appears on "Artists on Artists" compilation tapes.Jay Anania's "Louis Zukofsky" is a portrait of the poet and his work. The film opens with a reading accompanied by words as pictures. The poem seems a mix of English and Latin words. Zukofsky's wife, the composer Celia Thaew, appears. She and a singer perform an original composition, which features one of Zukofsky's poems set to music.
