Scope:
This is raw, unedited footage.

The original footage was shot on two one-hour 1" videotapes. Preservation masters were made in 1999 on two one-hour Betacam SP cassettes, as were two screening copies on one-hour VHS cassettes.

Footage consists of two hours of static shots of pictures of works/designs/sketches by the four designers interviewed for the project.

Tape 1 (62:00): 35 minutes of shots of Charles Blessing's black-and-white sketches of European cities, followed (after a 2-minute gap) by 25 minutes of shots of Paul Rand's designs/advertisements.

Tape 2 (62:00): Static shots of stills of designs/works by: 1. Paul Rand; 2. Melanie Kahane; 3. O'Neil Ford; 4. Paul Rand (again).
