Description : Abstract A large crowd is gathered outside of the Bunker Hill Housing Project on Bunker Hill Street in Charlestown on the first day of school. Boston police, MDC police and US Marshals line Bunker Hill Street, making efforts to control the crowds. Police officers in riot helmets march in formation along the street. Police helicopters circle overhead. Police officers are stationed on the roof of a housing project building. The police officers demand that the crowd move onto the sidewalk. A crowd of youth leaves the housing project and walks up Bunker Hill Street, away from police.
