Description : Abstract
Police officers and US Marshals are stationed outside of Charlestown High School. African American and white students exit the school. White students walk away from the school. African American students board buses and depart. Members of the media record the event from across the street. Gary Griffith reports from the South End. He gives an update on the senatorial race in the second Suffolk district. Elevated train tracks are visible on Washington Street.
