The following resources support study in African American history. Many of these heritage collections, available at college and university libraries and archives, offer HTML guides to prominent collections and have online exhibits featuring scanned photographs, streaming video, and sound. Publications listed below have subscription information and, in many cases, electronic versions of recent issues you can browse for free. Additionally, we have provided some national links for those interested in the function of archives and archivists. If you are a representative of one of these organizations or publications, and wish to be removed from our list, please e-mail the WGBH Media Archives and Preservation Center at archive_requests@wgbh.org.
