"Encore" segments include 1974 interviews conducted by former Say Brother writer/researcher Dighton Spooner with Dr. Houston Kelly (on hypertension and the diet of the African American community), Dr. Louis Sullivan of the Boston Sickle Cell Center (on the physical and political implications of sickle cell anemia), and Howard Hughes, Director of the Dimock Community Health Center's alcoholism program (on recognizing and treating alcohol problems). Program includes a brief narrated segment (also from 1974) on lead paint poisoning and a short interview segment with African artist El Loco conducted by Barbara Barrow, in which Loco explains the symbolism of his work. Dr. Sullivan went on to become Secretary of Heath and Human Services under President Carter.
