Program Description
Program focuses on the country music of Georgian blues artist Larry Johnson via a special presentation of the film Toughing it Out by Jim McGlynn and Chuck Rosin. Film features interviews with, and performances by, Johnson, who talks about his life in Georgia, the experiences that led him to New York, his discovery of major New York blues musicians, the making his first record, living in Harlem, and playing music. The movie was produced, directed, and conceived by Jim McGlynn and Chuck Rosin, photographed and edited by Werner Bundschuh, and executive-produced by Chuck Rosin. Copyright 1976, "A CR Production."
